Snow moisture meter “Doser” for quickly determining snow moisture.

 How it works : The measuring device is placed flat against the snow with its sensor surface, allowing a high-frequency electric field to penetrate the snow. The snow moisture content can be read as a percentage (%).
Snow moisture:
  
 Dry 17% and less
  
 Medium to humid 16% – 28%
  
 Wet 27% – 100%
The measurement results are influenced not only by snow moisture but also by snow density. Therefore, some experience is required to accurately analyze measurements.
